Weekly Menu Planner here with your new menus and grocery shopping lists. Sorry to be posting late, but I got buried in tax papers yesterday and barely made it out alive! Actually, we're getting a nice return this year, so I was anxious to file. We need our own family bail out this year. That's why these menus have been so cheap and budget friendly. It's been my mindset this year. Save Money!! Plan better! You know, these online menus and shopping lists actually may help others to save money on their groceries, too!
Day 1: Glazed Ham p. 317, Scalloped Potatoes, Peas, Sliced Oranges, Rolls
Day 2: Glazed Ham (leftovers), Scalloped Potatoes, Peas, Sliced Oranges, Rolls
Day 3: Red Beans and Cornbread p. 64, Steamed Carrots, Peaches
Day 4: Spinach-Rice Casserole p. 68 (we put ham instead of tofu), Baked Apples
Day 5: Pan Fried Fish p. 251 w/ Sliced Lemon, Rolls, Broccoli, Apple Pie
Day 6: Tuna Noodle Casserole p. 252, Steamed Carrots, Apple Pie
Day 7: Beef and Noodles p. 301, Mashed Potatoes, Peas, Blueberry and Spice Bread Pudding (from Lynn's Kitchen)

12 Apples (baking)
2 Lemons

5 lbs. Potatoes
1 lb. dry red beans

Brown Rice
1 (14-ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
1 Can Chicken Broth
8 1/2 cups Beef Broth
1 Can Tuna
1 Can Chopped Pimiento
1 Can Peaches
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Italian Style Tomatoes diced
2 lb. Boneless Beef Round Steak
Ham with bone
2 Dozen Eggs
3 Gallons Milk
Swiss Cheese
1 lb. butter or margarine, melted
2 cups fresh or dry-pack frozen blueberries
1 package Frozen Chopped Spinach
2 Packages Frozen Peas
1 lb. Frozen Fish Fillets (1/2-1" thick)
Frozen Broccoli
16 oz. Frozen Noodles

Check to make sure you have: cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, cloves, brown sugar, cornstarch, dry mustard, garlic, flour, pepper, salt, oil, yeast, oregano, basil, sesame seed, corn meal, bread crumbs, shortening, sugar, vinegar, marjoram

ReplyDeleteI forgot to ask in my previous comment... Do you plan for a family of 9 ? Any teenagers, especially boys...they eat as much as grown men !

Your Menus and shopping lists would make a great book but I am grateful for the ideas you give us here online...it can get pretty boring cooking the same things all the time...Love the variety...also that you use leftovers and healthy foods !
